Wentworth Point Public School – Scheduled Opening 1st Term,2018

Project overview

The department is currently constructing a new school at Burroway Road, Wentworth Point.

This new public school will cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, initially accommodating approximately 400 students. The school is planned to open in Term 1, 2018.

The project is to build a brand new school featuring flexible learning spaces that reflect current research and support 21st-century evidence-based teaching practices. The school will include:

  • 14 home bases
  • 4 special education classrooms
  • a hall
  • a library
  • covered outdoor learning areas.

Construction commenced in August 2016 and will be completed in January 2018.
